国立健康危機管理研究機構（JIHS）

In April 2025, the Japan Institute for Health Security (JIHS) will be established through the merger of the National Institute of Infectious Diseases (NIID) and the National Center for Global Health and Medicine (NCGM). The JIHS will serve as a world-class Integrated Science Center for Infectious Diseases to protect people from various diseases and health emergencies such as infectious diseases.

令和7年4月、国立国際医療研究センター と 国立感染症研究所が統合し，「国立健康危機管理研究機構（JIHS：Japan Institute for Health Security）」が設立されます。JIHSは、政府に科学的知見を提供する新たな専門家組織として、感染症等の情報分析・研究・危機対応、人材育成、国際協力、医療の提供等を一体的・包括的に行います。
